Switch to LED and smart lighting at Terminal de France: another step towards GMP’s goal of carbon neutrality by 2035

GMP continues to decarbonize its activities with real-time lighting management based on terminal activity and the replacement of existing sodium bulbs with LED projectors. With improved energy efficiency, durability, and light quality, LEDs powered by 100% green electricity now illuminate the 90 hectares of the Terminal de France’s operating areas, including container storage and traffic lanes. This strategic investment by GMP of nearly €1 million will save 50% in energy costs and is in line with its social commitment charter aimed at achieving carbon neutrality by 2035.
